Pay attention to make sure the sealing ring on the head of air filter element tightly to the inner end surface of air filter. The air filter maintenance on the diesel engine of diesel driven screw air compressor should be done at the same time of compressor air filter element maintenance. The maintenance steps are the same.

  2. Normally the air filter element should be changed every 1000 to 1500 hours. It is suggested to change the air filter element every 500 hours when the compressor is used in very harsh environment, such as mining, ceramics factory, cotton spinning mill, etc.

  3. When cleaning or changing the air filter element, please pay attention to avoid any foreign matter entering into the air inlet valve.

  4. Check whether there is any break on the air inlet extension tube, whether there is any loose and leakage on the connection from extension tube to air inlet valve. Repair or changing it when found it.
